“From Vedas to Ram Mandir: The Journey of Mohit Pandye, A Priest in the Making”
Mohit Pandye, a student of Dudheshwarnath Vedic University, has been selected as a priest for the Ram Mandir through a voting process involving 3,000 interviews. He will receive a monthly salary of ₹32,900. Out of approximately 3,000 candidates who participated in the interviews, 20 individuals have been chosen through the voting process. Mohit Pandye is one of the selected priests.

All the chosen priests will undergo a six-month training program, and after completion, they will be officially appointed. Mohit Pandye, currently residing in Sitapur, has received education in Samaveda from Dudheshwarnath Vedic University. Following the completion of his Samaveda education, he went to Tirupati for further (Aacharya) training and is currently preparing for a Ph.D. Meanwhile, he had applied for the position of a priest at the Ram Mandir, and his application was successful.
This marks an important step in Mohit Pandye’s journey, who aspires to serve as a priest at the revered Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
